Dr Emma Probett

I am a writer, researcher, project manager, and podcaster interested in 19th century British literature and history. I’m particularly interested in drawing connections that have been overlooked or under-represented.

My current projects include: writing a monograph on the unexplored literary links between the works of Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell, a chapter for a new edited companion to Dracula, a public-access walking tour of Victorian Leicester, and an article on Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) as a work of translation.
